Joy has since become one of the greatest fragrances in haute parfumerie. The very name of this perfume expresses the joie de vivre and exuberane of its creator. Unchanged since 1930, the delicious combination of rose and jasmine flowers inspired a floral 'melodie' that became the signature of many Jean Patou perfumes. In an attempt to create the most splendid perfume ever. Jean Patou doubled the quantitites of ingredients required for Joy. No fewer that ten thousand jasmine flowers and twenty eight dozen roses are required to make just 30ml of Joy Parfum. Top notes. Floral green: Bulgarian rose oil (natural), ylang ylang (natural), tuberose (natural). Heart notes. Rich-natural-floral: rose de May (natural), jasmine de May (natural). Base notes. Musk-like notes (synthetic)
