Why Vitamin A?: Vitamin A is the chief administrator of the skin, responsible for managing day-to-day activities. Without it, the skin's ability to repair damage and renew cells is affected and this deficiency can contribute to the telltale signs of ageing, such as wrinkles, lines and dry skin. Vitamin A is extremely sensitive to ultra violet light, however, and this sensitivity results in Vitamin A stores being lost when skin is exposed to sunlight. Re-introducing it back into the skin helps the body repair sun-damage and scarring and maintains the health of collagen and elastin. Alpha A 0.5%: This silky night time serum is the ideal entry level product for those who haven't previously conditioned their skin with AHA's or more aggressive Vitamin A treatments such as Retinol, Retin-A and Retinova. Alpha A 0.5% uses a much gentler, non-irritating form of Vitamin A, which is micro-encapsulated and time-released into the skin for optimum results. The Vitamin A in Alpha A 0.5% works as a natural exfoliator and hydrator, speeding up cell renewal, boosting the skins defence system against UV damage and climatic conditions whilst minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Suitable for: Dehydrated skin. Lined skin. Uneven skin tone. Oily, blemish prone skin. Skin affected by Rosacea, Eczema, Dermatitis and Psoriasis. To use:For night-time use only. Dispense a few drops into the palm of the hands and perform a gentle pressing motion onto face, neck and dcollet. Avoid lips and eyes by spreading serum away from these areas. Allow to absorb into the skin (4-5 minutes) before applying preferred night-time moisturiser. Important Information - The application of a sunscreen is crucial when using high potency vitamin serums. Whilst the application of Vitamin A is generally regarded as safe, given the body s capacity to store this vitamin, we highly recommend that customers do not use this product when pregnant.
